Rated 1 out of 5 by from Plastic Color Does not Match the Set Aside from the shipping issues, I had to return two of these in white/white. Both were made of plastic that was yellow and discolored and did not match the white plastic of the other Toonmate pontoon seating from the same collection that I ordered.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Overton's should be ashamed We spent over $3,000 replacing every component of seating including the captains station in 2015 with Overton's Toonmate Deluxe parts and components. After 5 years wear and tear is to be expected, despite being stored properly and used gently. When we took the pieces in for repair the local dealer indicated some of the cushion panels were not marine grade quality, and then demonstrated to me the difference between the components that were and that weren't. The part requiring repair is the non-marine grade component - which is a panel held to the frame with 3 small screws. One would think perhaps this piece simply gets more wear and tear so it would be modular to be replaced without replacing the entire right side seat. Nope, it is not - and an entire unit must be repurchased. I know this isn't the most expensive line Overton's carries, it fit our budget and the quality (supposedly) that we require for a small inland lake in the midwest. Flashy isn't necessary, but a quality product is. In comparison, we purchased a mid-level Polaris PWC 20 years ago. We care for it the same way and it gets more wear and tear because kids are kids. We sold it this summer for a premium because it was made so well and was made of quality materials - while being owned with care and maintenance. We will replace the entire seating for the pontoon again - but from will have it custom built and use Sunbrella fabrics from the Glen Raven Company, a reputable manufacturer in North Carolina with a solid reputation of quality materials. Its not the money Overton's - its the experience. We are deeply unhappy with this product. We did speak with customer service and as is customary there is no replacement, only a minor discount for another inferior product. We understand, 3 year warranty ended 2 years ago. However, if you keep using poor materials that are not marine grade, you will continue to lose business.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Love my pontoon furniture! The furniture is great. I was a little disapointed with the delivery because the furniture is delivered in a semi truck and since I a residentual I had to make arrangements to get a truck and go meet the semi, load on the truck, then haul the rest of the way home myself, then unload.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Happy! I have had nothing but compliments after installing these seats. The Lean-Back Lounge seat is one that is most sought after by the guest on my boat. I also enjoy it the most when I am out because it is perfect for leaning back, relaxing, and enjoying a good book. It also has some great storage space under the angled pad. One of my favorite pieces!

What is installation like for this? Do you need to take the boat out of the water? How does it stay tucked in?

Asked by: austinite
Thank you for your question. Installation is simple--you will run screws or bolts through the bottom of the seat base utilizing the access point gained by lifting up the seat cushion. Unless you need access to the bottom of the floor of the pontoon boat for your installation hardware---no need to remove from the water.

I don't get it. Is there another component? Where does your butt go?

Asked by: Anonymous
You don't put your butt anywhere. It is an end cap. It butts up to your bench seat and you lean back on it like you would a lounge chair. It's for your back, not your butt.

Why does it have a handle? Is there storage under it or something?

Asked by: pontoon owner
Yes, there is room for storage underneath the seat.

Where do you sit? How does this work with the other furniture, end, corner, what?

Asked by: Tony the VT Hokie
These are typically used at the end of a lounge seat (item 86794 for example) or a corner lounge seat (item 76797 for example). It provides a finished look, something to lean back on and extra storage.
