Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great Product The roller is a great addition to my trailer except Overton's says it's a 12" roller. When it arrived the Stoltz yellow tag stated it is 11.5" long. When I fit it on the original Shorelander roller bracket it had a 1/2" gap on both sides when centered on the 5/8" shaft. So I figured out that I needed the 5/8" Stoltz Polyurethane End Caps which I immediately ordered. I am waiting for them now. Overton's should add a note that in some applications end caps may be needed to fill a gap because the roller is not 12" long and also correct the product dimension to 11.5". The original roller had end inserts and fit the bracket perfectly except it was aged cracked and had to be replaced.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Requiring Robust Roller Review Attached this to my boat trailer and WOW!!! They look incredibly robust and are highly functional. They guide my twin hull to berth upon the trailer. I have full faith in launching and recovery of my vessel. This product takes me to another level of happiness.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fine Rollers Great roller, functions perfectly, glad I bought them, easy to drive onto trailer now. No need to winch my heavy boat when loading, I omly use the winch as a locking device not to keep the boat on the trailer while towing on the road. I have recommended these rollers to my neighbor who still struggles to load his boat the hard way!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from driving forward THE ROLLERS DID EXACTLY WHAT THEY WERE DESIGNED TO DO, THAT IS TO CENTER THE BOAT IN THE MIDDLE OF THE TRAILER.

have looked EVERYWHERE for installation instruction / an install video. ANYONE KNOW WHERE TO FIND THEM, OR LET ME KNOW HOW TO INSTALL THIS THING

Asked by: Gene
First of all, you have to make sure your shaft on your boat trailer can accommodate the 11' roller and has a 5/8" shaft.  Some boat trailers have 1 1/4" shafts.  Secondly, look very carefully at the Stoltz roller.  There is an arrow close to the center.  That arrow points in the direction the roller in meant to roll.  In other words, the arrow should point to the front of your boat trailer.  That is the direction the roller rolls when you are winching up your boat.  If you get it wrong, the roller will not center the boat keel and actually do the opposite.

Can this product be used on a bunk trailer where the boat does not center properly?

Asked by: Anonymous
I imagine you can, but you would have to off set the keel roller. I would advise trying to have everything line up as straight as possible for safety issues. This alone though will not straighten up your boat and solve your problem.
