Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great Tool This product is absolutely amazing and works perfectly. The only flaw is that that the flint lighter doesn’t work the best and i don’t know what to spark it with

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect for clearing around home. Great tool for clearing and cutting back brush and small trees. Safety is concern with your swing arc. Not recommended for use by anyone under 14 unaccompanied.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Great features but they don’t seem to work well I love these tools over all and I would recommend them. That being said I would also make the buyer aware of what I consider the things that don’t work. Please make sure to read other reviews to see what others experience was like. These were my first tomahawk purchase, I bought a pair. I love the feel and weight of these tools. I used them for the first time today with a friend that had his own tomahawks and various growing knives. These tomahawks were substantially heavier and more comfortable for throwing IMO than anything that he brought. We threw for about 1 1/2 hours into a tree ring target that he had made from 2x4 lumber and a cut tree trunk slice about 10 in thick. We threw from various distances ranging from 3 feet to 30 feet away. Throwing was easy and I saw improvement in the time that I got the mechanics down. It was a pleasant time and I look forward to doing it again. Now for my issues. First issue was the paracord wrapped handles came unwrapped, from the force of hitting the trunk, after about 3 throws. I removed the paracord and continued for the remainder of the time with no further issues related there. Handles were comfortable without the paracord but I preferred the feel with the cord vice without. I am going to attempt to rewrap the handles. Second issues was the fire rod inside broke into multiple pieces during throwing. I did not find out until I cleaned them that evening but they are useless now. I would imagine that the impact of the sudden stop broke them. I feel like if they are placed inside that they should be able to withstand the usage of throwing. I am going to buy more rods and attempt to pack around them with something to see if that fixes the issue. In the meantime I am not looking for same spec tomahawks without fire rod and paracord. I will definitely be keeping these for practice usage.
