The air equalizer hitch system for a load leveling or WD hitch helps absorb the road shock and cushions the chucking, tugs, and jerks you feel when towing a camper with a weight distribution system. The Shocker Hitch Equalizer fits most major brands of weight-distribution hitches. This Shocker Air Equalizer offers 12,000-lb. gross trailer weight and 1,200-lb. tongue weight rating capacities. This hitch also offers 7" of adjustment with the 8-hole XR (5" rise to 2" of drop).
The Air Equalizer kit comes with Air Equalizer and XR hitch for a receiver hitch. The built-in air ride system, along with the 4 bump cushions, directs the rock shock through the air ride system, still allowing your weight-distribution hitch to work as intended, giving you a smoother and safer ride for you, your pickup, camper, and its contents. Plus, the additional advantage of the Shocker Hitch for your weight distribution hitch is the ability to adjust air pressure up or down when you're towing different weights for the best ride and load control. Constructed out of heavy-duty steel that is finished with a premium textured black powder-coat finish on the Air Equalizer and the XR hitch.
NOTE: Fits Pickup Trucks Only – This is designed for pulling with a pickup truck. It will not work with SUVs/CUVs with coil-over springs in the rear. This Air Equalizer only works with a WD Hitch.
