Went on very easy and water spots just wipe off of pontoons. No discoloration on the pontoons after being in the lake all day.

So far so Good
My husband applied two coats to the pontoons on our boat after having polished them for weeks. It looks brand new. We haven't put it in the water yet but will pretty soon. Weather is warming up nicely. I'll let everyone know how it does by mid-season. He left the back of one of the pontoons as it was so he can compare after the season is over.

Yes. The Sharkhide can be applied with a HVLP spray system. Please use caution as the drying time will be very quick.

Will this prevent Algae and Zebra muscles from growing on aluminum pontoons?
No. This is not an anti-fouling paint. You will need a true bottom paint product to prevent algae and other marine growth.

Can you use boat paint over this protectant?
No. I wouldn't advise to paint over Sharkhide or any other material for that matter. No paint type material should be applied over anything other than the primer that the paint company recomends.

This is not a sealant but rather an overcoat if you will, but it will not fill or seal holes or cracks.
