Is this product suitable to cover a houseboat cabin top covered with new plywood? (Sea Hawk Gel Coat)
No. This Sea Hawk paint is only recommended for painting over existing gel-coats. I would suggest the Blue Water Mega Gloss Gold Silicone Copolymer, Gallon (Item # 883308). It will normally require three coats but it is recommended on the first coat to use the Blue Water Thinner 974 (Item # 883281) to thin the first coat by 10-15% for best absorption.
