Features
Gas tank vent from Sea-Dog functions to provide the air flow needed to maintain proper fuel flow during filling and use. Vent compensates for changes in tank level due to consumption as well as temperature related expansion and contraction. Designed to prevent vacuum buildup during use which can disrupt fuel delivery, the tank vent also doubles as a pressure-release valve for the gas tank. Chrome-plated machined brass fitting helps prevent fuel spills, blow-back, and ensures fumes vent outward instead of inside the boat. Two screens provide a barrier to keep unwanted contaminants from entering the tank. An integral hose barb securely connects vent hose. 2-1/4"L. For use with 5/8" hose.
