The Scanstrut Self-Leveling Backstay Radar Mount ensures that your radar stays level with the horizon at all times for optimum antenna performance. As the boat heels or rolls, the radar is kept horizontal preventing target loss and giving the best possible radar picture. Using Scanstrut's exclusive, fine-tuned hydraulic damping system, the radar mount reacts to major changes in the heel angle of the boat while eliminating minor oscillations. The radome cradle and base plate are manufactured from marine-grade 316 stainless steel for long-lasting durability. The pole and head unit are made from the finest-quality machined and anodized aluminum to last the lifetime of your yacht. The Self-Leveling Backstay Mount is specifically designed for use with Sitex and Simrad domes. Model#: LMB-F2.
