Perfect your ollie and perform easier shove-its on this skate-inspired Skimmer wakesurfer. This traditional skim board opens up a whole new spectrum of tricks. A shape designed by Ronix's greatest skater, Reed Hansen, the Skimmer provides the board feel and release needed in a crossover shape. The thin board has a more reactive rail with a lighter design for more contact and feel and is constructed with the responsive Air Core foam and wrapped in an all carbon shell.
Carbon Shell: The most responsive construction Ronix has ever tested. Shell is made out of a mold and then wrapped in carbon for a torsionally stiff layup.
Skimmer Thickness: A shape designed to sacrifice some top water momentum for a board that has the most feel for the water. This allows the rider to surf more like they are on a wakeskate, either using a shallow fin or no fin at all because the board has so much natural grip.
Hard Rail: A hard rail allows high speed carves for riders who like to bury the rail.
