The Roadmaster Comfort Ride Slipper Spring part number 2580-50 is an add-on for a 3rd axle and requires the Comfort Ride Slipper Spring setup for 2 axles that are rated up to 8,000 lbs. The 2-Axle Slipper Spring setup is not included.
The Roadmaster Comfort Ride suspension system is designed to enable your trailer to glide smoothly over the roughest roads. Comfort Ride Slipper Springs used in combination with Comfort Ride Shock Absorbers will greatly reduce the causes of chucking, axle roll-up, and suspension rebound.
Comfort Ride Slipper Springs add independent axle operation. In addition to an improved ride, independent axles increase braking tire traction by as much as 70% because there's no axle roll up that conventional suspensions suffer during hard or panic braking events. The Slipper Spring System is an add-on to the Comfort Ride Shock Absorber System which is required.
