Features
This beacon complies with all U.S. Coast Guard requirements for "night visual distress signals" as found in the code of federal regulations. The distress flag that is included complies with U.S. Coast Guard requirements for daytime signaling. This beacon light flashes a bright "SOS" distress signal in Morse Code. It flashes 2 X longer than the USCG continuous run time requirement and maintains a constant light intensity 2.5 X longer than the USCG requirement. Multiple deployment options include "Floatable" due to its self righting design, "Handheld" with molded in plastic grips, and "Hanging" with provided lanyards.
