Additional Information
35% thinner than the O'Brien Screamer, the Boxxer 2 towable tube is a low-riding tube that keeps you close to the water for a more thrilling ride. Constructed of heavy 26-gauge PVC with a full 840-denier nylon cover. Quick-connect tow hook. The low profile makes boarding the Boxxer much easier. The Boxxer towable tube features Lightning valves that inflate/deflate 57% faster than standard Boston valves. Overton's recommends purchasing one of our Inflator/Deflator pumps (items #44212, #44211, or #44123) that come with an adapter sized to fit the new Lightning valve. 340-lb. weight capacity. 66" x 66". One-year limited warranty.

The Lightning Valve is similar to the Boston Valve except that it is attached to the towable, so there are no parts to keep up with or lose. The wider opening inflates and deflates 57% faster than the Boston Valve. An interior flap prevents air from escaping, even if the cap is not in place. Inside diameter of the valve measures 30mm.

Can one person ride instead of 2?

    Asked by: susan
Yep! One person will ride fine. Just don't tow it with no people on it, it could rip.

Would 840D Nylon be smoother or rougher than 420D Nylon?

    Asked by: AnnieL
I wouldn't say that one is more smooth or rough than the other, but you can feel a difference in the thicknesses of the fibers between the two.

Is the back profile and the front profile the same height?

    Asked by: AnnieL
This towable does not have a tapered bladder, so the heights are the same. The cool thing about this towable is that it is 35% thinner than most deck tubes, so boarding in water is much easier than getting back on a higher profile tube.
