With an improved engine, the Quantum Throttle Spinning Reel is driving fishing performance. New Reel Engine Design (R.E.D.) technology is based on an aluminum uni-body, precision-machined to provide a more solid foundation for the gears and drive shaft in a single, rear-accessible compartment. This design provides silky-smooth cranking due to more consistent and tighter tolerances.
The 11 stainless-steel bearing drive with continuous anti-reverse provides smooth casts and retrieves. Other high-performance features include a multi-disk drag system, stainless steel main shaft, and braid-ready spool band. Double-anodized MaxCast II spool design and smoke-anodized aluminum bail wire add extra toughness. Lightweight graphite rotor.
