Is this a marine grade sealer? Will it work on my new transom board?
Yes. The Interprime Clear Wood Sealer is designed for marine applications. Yes, it will seal the transom board of your boat. It is recommended to apply at least two coats to the bare wood. This will seal the wood so that the paint or varnish of your choice can be applied as directed. Once a gloss finish is obtained, the wood should be sanded with 120 grade (grit) paper before applying finish coats of paint or varnish.
