New Life for an old boat.
This stuff goes on like paint. I used a body filler paste to fill all gouges and chips, then sanded smooth. I mixed 2 drops of hardener to about 4 oz of gel in a plastic cup. This gave me enough to coat a 3ft strip of my keel and some othere spots befor the hardener activated. It covered the spider web cracks nicely. Preping the area and making it smooth with the old skin is key. After 25 hours in the water it still has its shine. Time is key along with preping the area. I brushed it on 2 weeks ago and it looks great.

Not what I expected
I expected the consistency to that of Bondo--------------Turned out, it had the consistency of MILK ! Try filling a ding in your boat with that. Very disappointing.

I have a 12 yr old Winne 39 ft long the white top is chalking heavily. White streaks run down the sides of the coach after a rainstorm. There are some places you may see the glass about to come thru. Is this the correct stuff to fix this ?
This should work for your application.

How is the hardener used ? Brush, spray, or roll on? Do I mask the edges which abut the color paint ? How much needed for 280 Sq Ft ? Is this a one time fix, an annual regimen, or a fix with annual wax coat needed ? What wax is used to protect it ?
Below is the instructions on how the gelcoat is prepared, mixed and applied to the surface. As far as knowing how much is needed for 280 sq feet, how often this would need to be applied, and what wax is needed to protect this, we recommend contacting the manufacturer directly. Their number is: 1-800-729-7600

Will this cover stains on a fiberglass tub?
This is not really the intended use of this product. I would try a cleaner before I would resort to using this item for stains.
