Rated 5 out of 5 by from My favorite rod I've taken these rods out spinning for trout, catching largemouth, and jigging for walleye. The rods do the job. The guide rings are nicely designed, so the guide rings will stay put. I haven't snapped one of these before. My buddy has one from over 8 years ago and still fishes with it. So that proves how tough the rod is.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Okay.. I was getting to be very good at baitcasting for bass fishing, I had caught countless fish on my first day out with this new rod, I liked the feel of it and it could cast very well. The second day again I caught many fish and I was fishing on 12 lb flurocarbon line. But I got snagged on a little tree in a flooded part of my lake. I pulled the boat around to it and I was pulling on it and the rod snapped. The line was completely fine. The rod was rated for 8lb-17lb. Very dissatisfied. I am hoping to get a refund, hopefully make up for the broken rod with good service.
