Have a 18' aqua sport with a short shaft 90 horse yamaha and need to drop shaft/motor 4'' to 5'' . Will this help lower motor to stop prop wash.

Asked by: Matt
I would say and some. The only thing is it puts more weight to the rear of the boat so if the motor is heavy on the boat already it will drop the boat a little more below the water line. They do help increase speed as well and will help you enter more swallow water when adjusted higher.
