The midweight, 4.7-oz. nylon shell combines fully taped seams, a Rain Defender durable water-repellent finish, and Storm Defender waterproof/breathable technology to ensure that you stay dry even in a downpour. A breathable mesh lining in the hood and body keeps air circulating freely so you don’t get overheated. A nylon taffeta lining in the sleeves allows for quick, easy on and off. Triple-needle stitching at all main seams delivers Carhartt-strong durability. The jacket features an attached visor hood with hook-and-loop volume adjuster; a full-length waterproof front zipper; partial elastic cuffs with hook-and-loop adjustable tabs; and a drawcord-adjustable waist hem with dropped tail for added coverage in back. Two zip-secure hand pockets, a vertical zip pocket at the left chest, and an interior drop-in pocket with hook-and-loop closure provide plenty of convenient storage options.
