The lightweight Carstrong nylon shell is every bit as strong as sandstone duck, and the Rain Defender durable water-repellent finish keeps you dry and moving in light rain. A breathable mesh lining throughout the body helps prevent overheating, while a smooth taffeta lining in the sleeves allows for easier on and off. Triple-needle stitching at the main seams ensures long-wearing durability. The lightweight hood tucks away and zips into the mock-neck collar when not needed. Additional features of the Utility Coat include a full-length, two-way front zipper with snap-closed inner and outer storm flaps; snap-adjustable cuffs; and a drawcord-adjustable hem with a drop tail for added coverage in back. Storage abounds in this gear-friendly jacket, with two upper chest pockets and two lower bellowed pockets, all with snap-closed flaps; side-entry handwarmer pockets; a pen stall at the left-chest pocket flap; and two interior pockets (one with zipper closure and one with hook-and-loop closure).
