I want to repaint just the topside of my Catalina 22 sailboat with the recommended 2 coats. I'm thinking of using my spray gun. How much paint will I need? Any other helpful hints would be appreciated.

Asked by: Captain White Knees
The Brightside Polyurethane Topside Finish can be applied with an Airless Spray Gun. A quart of the Brightside Polyurethane Topside Finish will cover approximately 66 square feet.

Do you need to sand between coats? Do you have to apply a clear top coat to this product?

Yes. It is recommended to sand the Brightside Polyurethane Topside Finish between coats using a 220 - 320 grit sand paper. No. You will not need to add a clear coat over the 2 or 3 coats of the polyurethane.
