Awsome Product
I have a 17 foot Tracker (aluminum) and it tends to be a little light in the front. The Boat Buckle works perfect to keep the boat from bouncing. I recently took a 500 mile trip to Minnesota and it did perfect.

Knot Going Anywhere
Many times overlooked but an actual necessity if your winch tether breaks. This will keep your boat on the trailer and not out in traffic. Heavy Duty basic insurance.

This product gave me more confidence in securing the bow.
I drilled the bolt hole for mounting the tie down with a low priced drill and bit. I will not make that mistake again!!!

BoatBuckle Bow Tie Down
Hardesy part about the install is drilling the hole. You will most likely need to purchase a shorter bolt. I hooked it to the bow hook on the boat with a ring that keeps the strap from twisting. Holds the bow tight to the bow roller now and no more bouncing.

I noticed on your web site that the extension on the strap is 14" to 43"....On all the other sites I have looked at for this product they do not list a minimum extension (14") Why do I need it that long? It looks like 8" would work.
Hello Harry, The BoatBuckle G2 will retract down to 7". The 7" is from the screw hole underneath the ratchet to the inside of the hook. Thank you, Steve

do you know how the tie-down attaches/mounts to the trailer?
Luckily my trailer had an angled support with a hole in it I could attach this to. If it had not been for that they provide you a bolt long enough to fit through a 4" trailer but they expect you to drill through both sides of the trailer to put the bolt through which is not impossible but will require a nice sharp bit and some patience.
