If I have minor blistering on a 1980 fiberglass 21 ft sailboat should I use this product or Shield 70? Thanks.
The best product to use in this situation is the Blue Water Bottom Shield 70 (Item # 883301) as it has higher solids and better build. Prime the blisters only for the first coat and then add 2 additional coats on the entire bottom. It is recommended to re-coat when tacky.

How do you apply the epoxy primer on gel coat surface?
Hello Weldon, The most common application process is to brush or roll with a shed resistant 3/8-1/2 " nap roller. Once mixed, you have approx 2-3 hours of pot life to apply. Thank you, Steve
