Rated 3 out of 5 by from Stout and fast tip Bought the 7'6" Medium fast (BCINS761M-MF) rod. With the fast tip, I could cast it for 3/4 of my spool on a Garcia STX reel. The rod was great until I was fishing 2 days ago (6/17/20) and hooked a 4 lb. sheepshead. The rod snapped into 2 pieces and I lost the fish. Had that rod about 6 months. Can't find a warranty with Berkley on this rod. Beware my fellow anglers. It is inexpensive and there is a reason for this.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Great rod.... but Loved the rod the first few times I used it but like the other Berkley fishing rod I purchased it snapped, I dropped it in my boat and it shattered. Very disappointed.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Exactly what I was looking for I have been looking for a rod that will allow me to make a long cast with an 1/8th ounce jug, the Inshore 7’ medium light was exactly what I was looking for. Plenty of strength in the butt section for fighting bigger fish.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Disappointed Service from Gander was great! Rods not so much. Tip snapped of the first time I hooked a fish. The is the 3rd Berkeley that has broke as soon a fish took the bait.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Must underrated rod out there! I keep buying more for my arsenal. Super tough, super durable. Works for light skinny saltwater or can be used to drop 6 ounces of lead if needed for bottom fishing. Great all purpose rod. Can't say enough

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent quality and value I will start with the high quality of the rod. The action is all in the upper 18" with a stiff backbone. Website stated the MH 7'6" spinning rod at 1/4 to 3/4 oz lure rating. what is printed on the rod is 1/4 to 5/8. I was casting 1oz kastmaster and bucktails a half mile with ease feeling this is the sweet spot on the rod. My intention was to throw 1/2 to 3/4 oz bucktails for flounder max. Would definitely handle larger blues, stripers and albies well so I'm still very happy. I also purchased the 7'6" Berkley amp for my son. It has the action I was really looking for for flounder. All in all still an exceptional rod and value. Pairs up with a Penn 3000 or 4000 well.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Good value, not the most durable. I have had 2 of the 7' Medium Light rods, and I have to say that for the price you get a good quality rod for lighter inshore use. The blank is not the strongest however. The first rod I purchased broke during my first trip with it. Berkley's warranty is fairly good, and they were willing to replace the rod. The 1st replacement came broken, but the second came intact and was going well until the ceramic inserts on 2 eyes came out. I bought another, and it broke after 2 months of using it while flipping a fish up a jetty. Overall, I find that this rod is a good value, but special care needs to be taken to not high-stick with it or put it under too much pressure.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent rod Love the rubberized spit argonomic grip and the smooth casting eyes. Fairly light weight rod. Excellent quality compared to some of my other high end rods. Love Berkley products. They never let me down.
