Features
BayStar is the first hydraulic steering system designed for use with boats powered by single outboard motors up to 150 hp. Ideal for skiffs, center consoles, runabouts, and pontoon boats, BayStar's balanced, compact steering cylinder was developed to fit these smaller splashwells. This affordable system comes with everything needed for easy installation. Each kit includes a super-low-friction helm pump, cylinder, two lengths of 20' high-pressure cut-to-fit steering tubing, two bottles of hydraulic steering fluid, and a filler kit. 4.5 turns lock-to-lock. Requires at least a 32" splashwell. Not recommended for use with high-performance 150 hp engines such as Mercury Optimax. Not recommended for high-speed boats such as bass or race/ski combo boats.
