What is the SAS and non SAS?

Asked by: jim
Thanks for your question. SAS stands for Shock Absorbing System. The Attwood Centric seat is produced in a SAS and non-SAS version. The version with SAS features a quad spring suspension built in to the seat bottom. This suspension provides 3" of travel to help prevent the seat from "bottoming out" in rough water.
