Rated 1 out of 5 by from cheaply made installed at end of season last year. Launched the boat 2 weeks ago. Got about 10 or less total starts with this motor before it broke. And I mean...."broke".....the metal half moon housing that protects the gearing broke in two..........cheap metal or design flaw.... take your pick. Called Arrowhead to ask about warranty. I bought it through Overton's so they told me to contact them. Called Overton's.....6 month warranty....of course that expired in the middle of the winter when the boat was stored. So, I guess each start cost me about $13.00. Won't buy another arrowhead product.

HOW DO I NO WHAT STARTER I NEED I HAVE A 1988 GLASS-TRON WITH A 4 CYL INBOARD-OUT-BOARD 3.0

Asked by: Anonymous
The best thing to do when replacing any engine part is to take off the old engine part and gather as much information as possible off of that exact part. Most engine parts should have a serial number and a part number on them and with that information we should be able to assist you and make sure we are getting you the correct starter for your engine and application. If you have any further questions please contact us here at Overton's at 1-888-OVERTON and any of our Technical Product Specialist will be glad to assist you.
