The 7-way trailer connector features seven blade-style connections that correspond to different electrical functions such as taillights, brake lights, turn signals, electric brakes, auxiliary power, reverse lights, and ground. The bare wires on the opposite end of the cord allow for hardwiring the trailer connector into the trailer's electrical system.
