Rated 1 out of 5 by from Broke on highway. I'm a dad with a wife and two kids. We have four bikes. We bought a four bike rack. It broke on the hwy and destroyed two bikes. I sent photos and requested a refund or store credit. Etrailer sent me to Swagman. Swagman sent me back to Etrailer. Why would either company sell a four bike bike rack and that a standard family of four with their four bikes can't use? I think this is inarguable. Fact stated: their four bike bike rack broke when a family of four put their normal 'family of four bikes' bikes on the rack. Simply stated: don't buy Swagman products and don't buy from eTrailer.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not a good option for mountain bikes. Not good for mountain bikes. Road bikes might be ok but our mountain bike frames would not Mount anywhere near safe.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Terrible! First of all this rack will not hold 4 bikes. I haul 3 bikes on the back of my camper and the rack will not support the weight of the bikes. The arms bend down very easily. Last camping trip the arm bent down so far allowing the last bike to hit the road when we hit a bump. Causing the bike to be ripped from the rack and costing a ton of $$$ to fix. Do not buy tis rack.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from OK...BUT, there are Design & Durability Issues Purchased the Trailhead 4 from Camping World. Within a few uses, the retaining grommets for the straps began snapping off while securing the bikes. Additionally, stacking anything more than 2 bikes is a HUGE hassle due to the large triangular cradles used for each bike. The CW product photos are old and do not show the "new" triangular cradles. I.E., the first bike stacked has to maneuver an obstacle course to mount/dismount. Lastly, let's talk security: the hitch retaining pin provided is uniquely threaded & sized to ONLY fit the bike rack receiver. I get that it is threaded/sized to reduce the rattling, but because of this, you cannot insert a lockable hitch pin (excepting a Bobby pin) through the opening, thus creating a security concern. Sure, someone can just remove the bolts from the base, but why not just remove the unsecured pin and get 1-4 free bikes plus a bike rack? I have to use a lengthy cable lock setup to secure the bikes & rack. Overall, very disappointed by the design of this product. Definitely a disconnect between the designers/developers, warranty folks, and customer service (who receive CX feedback). Yes, I am in product development and have an engineering background and for something as straightforward as a bike rack, this tells me there they are skimping on product development costs at the customer's expense.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Terrible It's advertised to be a four-bike rack, but is collapses under the weight of three mountain bikes. Of course, I find the rating later and realize that with my three bikes, the rack is severely over-weighted. Do your homework before purchasing and save your money. I wasted mine.
