Rated 4 out of 5 by from Easy installation and great function Installed in less than half an hour. The vertical taper, when installed, allows the boat to settle into the trailer bunks easily when loading. Strong enough to guide my 24 foot 5000 lb. cutty. The visibility of the trailer is increased when the boat is unloaded.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Post Guide Ons This should help when backing the trailer. Maybe I will actually get both wheels on the ramp instead of just one.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from ''Much less time at the boat ramp.'' Always had a problem lining my pontoon boat to the trailer because the trailer is half sumerged, but with these guide ons it is now a piece of cake.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect for loading and unloading alone This guide-on system did exactly what I had hoped it would do. I have a Pontoon/deck boat that weighs 3,600 lbs and on windy days it is hard to load on the trailer. This system guided my pontoon/deck boat on the trailer and centered it perfectly. The only problem I had and it was more of an inconvenience, was that my trailer frame is larger so I had to buy longer bolts.

Can the pvc pipe be removed while on the road?

Yes. You will still have the frame sticking up, which is approximately 16".

Are they structurally sound enough to load a 29' tri-toon boat on a windy day/s. How long is the lower mounting bar, if it is installed the maximum 13" out from trailer how much is in the mechanism securing it to the trailer?
