Poor
Butane last longer than the pads by long shot because within 20 to 30 minutes its already white . they used to last so much longer

Anemic in Mississippi
Have used this product for years with great success until this season. I don't know if you've changed your pads mix or whatever but they don't work. I just returned from a 4 day hunt and was eaten alive I quit counting at 100 bites thru my clothing when . Very disappointed to say the least.

INCREDIBLE!
I have the lanterns and the portable dispensers. They are amazing, you pay for what you get.They’re super easy to use and without spraying or lighting candles , etc mosquitos literally disappear from your surroundings instantly.

Great new smell
If you hunt, this is the scent for you. My husband and I hunt and use these all season! It smells exactly like dirt - my husband says that is the perfect scent. Works well if you are sitting against a tree or one spot - shooting house. Not very helpful when you are walking - but having bugs around you when you walk, is fine - but when you have to sit still and wait - these are the mat scents for you! BTW... great customer service!

why would you use anything else?
I was turned on to this product a few years ago while hunting in south Florida. A hunting buddy asked me "do you have a thermacell?", and my reply at that time was, "what is that?" So at 5 a.m. he dug one out of his pack and handed it to me and told me I would thank him later. Anyone who has been anywhere near the Glades knows that mosquito's are so bad that the sound alone can be almost deafening. Well I headed to the stand with this thing in hand, and WOW! I couldn't believe it, not one single bite after 5 hours in possibly the best mosquito habitat in the country. After meeting up later that evening, I shook his hand and thanked him (as he predicted). Heck, I may have even hugged him. This is by far and away the best mosquito repellent on the market!! Needless to say I have gifted many to my hunting friends. To family for sporting events and picnics. This is the only product I have used for years now, no Zika on me friends. The fresh earth cover scent pads are super effective on both mosquito's and flies alike. More importantly, I have not been winded by deer or hogs while using it. The only question in my mind is, why? Why would you not be using this product? Trust me, once you use this, you won't use anything else, and why would you? My only complaint would be that it takes 5 to 15 mins for the product to start working effectively. My solution is to start the thermacell when starting into my stand, it gives it time to heat up and by the time I'm into position, I'm completely protected. Bonus to using this is, I don't have to try and wash the smell off my hunting clothes after using it, unlike that other garbage you spray on!!
Come to think of it, ignore my review all together. Keep spraying that crud on your hunting clothes, keep using the stinky wrist bands. That's more " Pope & Young's" for my wall and not yours...
Note: I wouldn't recommend the normal pads during a hunt, I have deer catch wind of the normal pads, but not the "earth scent".

Great cover scent
I've used these for 2 years and Love the earth scent. It doesn't spook deer. They even seem to seek out the source of the smell of the fresh dirt.
