Hello. Is this repair kit to fix the inner tube of an inflatable water ski tube or can it be used to fix the outsider canvas cover.

    Asked by: Ange
This is designed to adhere to vinyl or vinyl coated products like inner tubes of towables. For canvas applications, you may be better suited to go with the Type A kit (item 14149).

Will this fix small holes in a trampoline?

    Asked by: ant man
It would seal the hole, but is not designed to flex/stretch like trampoline material is, therefore we would not recommend using this as a permanent fix for trampoline.

Will this product repair tears in the seam of towable tubes?

    Asked by: Mike
If entire seams are coming apart where they were once welded, we don't recommended trying to repair that with repair products like this. Yes, it would more than likely repair that seam if it is a smaller area coming apart, but it would be better to replace the tube if the entire weld is coming undone.

Will this kit work on a hot tub cover? The cover is starting to crack on the corner, about 1 inch, in the middle wear it folds.

    Asked by: Car
This product is designed to fit on vinyl or vinyl coated applications. If your hot tub material is made of something else, you may want to consider the Type A application (item 14149) which applies to a much broader listing of materials.

I'm trying to repair a 1"- 2" cut on a vinyl golf cart seat. Will this product work on that or should I use something that has a liquid adhesive component to it?

    Asked by: Joseph
Yes, this product will repair the golf cart seat. This is a clear material, but can be painted with a flexible paint if you are trying to completely mask the tear.

I want to repair tears in a leather chair and then paint the chair. will this work over leather?

    Asked by: covu
Tear-Aid Type A adheres to non-oiled leather. If the leather has not been oiled use Type A. Tear-Aid can be painted on or printed on. If painted it is recommended to use a flexible paint.
