Rated 1 out of 5 by from Repair of a boat canvas The tape didn’t hold when applied to a canvas top to a boat.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Comes off if you use 303 Fabric Guard I fixed my boat canvas with Type-A and initially was pleased but then I put 303 Fabric Guard on my canvas and every patch 3/4" wide or less fell off. And all the larger patches lost their adhesion 3/8" around on all sides ----- and its only been two days so I'm not sure how much deeper into the patches the adhesion will fail.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Strong and easy to use Used to repair a Sunfish sail with two tears and two holes. Applied to both sides of the sail. Easy to apply with a helper stretching the sail and has held up well.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Repair tape that works I used this tape to repair a large tear in my pop up camper canvas and it worked better than I thought it would. It held up to a masive rain storm with no leaks and the heat and humidity did not effect it's holding power. I will be buying more as I'm real happy with this product.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great product This tape was easy to work with. Repaired wrips and holes in the canvas better than anything else I used. There needs to be more than 50 inches of this tspe for the price you pay so you can use it on both sides of any good size tear. Other than that it worked wonders for me.

Have a 1989 Bunkhouse motorcycle popup camper. The tent material (not canvas, I guess it's vinyl?) is starting to show through in places (I can see light through but not yet leaking).Would this product be good for this application?

This should help patch most tarp and canvas type applications. This is 3" wide and comes in a 60" roll. If you hover over the image or click to enlarge, you can see the many different types of material applications this is good for including awnings, plastic, nylon, polyethylene, polypropylene, gor-tex, polyester, etc...

Do you have any info on this products effectiveness to patch a seam on a convertible top. I been using black tape and replaced evey once in a while as it moves whn the top is raised and lowered Thanks

Asked by: johneande
This product has been tested on boat covers, awnings , sails, and other various canvas products. This should be as effective, if not more effective than the black tape being used now. This is a clear material so it won't show as bad as other adhesive products in the marketplace.
