Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice clear mirror I read where some people said the suction cup didn't hold very good all I can say I was out on the lake today tubing with the grandkids we did a lot of jumping went through a lot of other boat wakes besides it takes 30 minutes to get to the lake there and back and this mirror stayed right in place and never fell off I have a Windshield and I stuck it to that the only problem I had and I see other people have is that it will not tilt down very far so I had to put it upside down which really doesn't matter and it worked perfect good Clearview

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not quite as advertised, but. Bought the mirror based on the description and reviews that indicated that the suction cup base would be secure on an appropriate surface. I mounted it on a flat glass windshield on a tractor and it would lose its suction. The longest it lasted was three days, the shortest was under an hour. I finally glued it on and am happy with how it is working. The device would be much more secure if it was made with a suction base with a lever-type suction activation system.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Nice Idea - Poor Result Touted as being very secure, no matter how carefully the window surface and suction cup surface were cleaned, the suction would fail with moderate vibration. The product would be much more reliable if the standard suction cup were replaced with a vacuum cup. As a side note, the mirror had to be installed in an inverse position, as the range of motion was insufficient to get the desired view when installed upright.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Suction cup mirror We bought this as a Christmas present for our son. It came very promptly which was great since we ordered it just a week before Christmas. He won't be using it until this summer but it looks like it will work great.

What's the "trick" to getting it to stay on?  I can't seem to get it to suction to the window for more than a few minutes.  We've cleaned the window and the suction cup several times and have applied it "wet". Love the mirror, but want it to stick!

    Asked by: searayjoe
The manufacturer suggest cleaning both the windshield and the suction cup again and then apply denatured alcohol to the suction cup before applying it to the windshield.

From the photo it appears that the mirror, if mounted on a horizontal surface will not give the proper rear view. Can the mirror be mounted on a horizontal surface (boat dash) and still give a proper rear view?

    Asked by: Anonymous
Yes, I have mine mounted on my fiberglass dash top and the mirror has plenty of adjustment for various speeds.

Yes. As long as you have enough flat surface area for the suction cup.
