Rated 5 out of 5 by from Reasonably priced and good quality I use the pedestal base for the rear fishing seat in a crossover bass boat. I'm hoping that the base is resistant to saltwater since the base is mounted on top of the rear live well and is subject to constant contact with saltwater. It is a ten minute job to switch it out so if it lasts a few years I'm happy. The original base is the same make and lasted ten years.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Easy To Install This seat base was easy to install. Took about 15 minutes to install two in the front of my bass boat. Going to use them for spider rigging. You will need a 2 3/4 inch hole saw and some SS screws. Very sturdy I weigh 375+. Now that's a test.
