Is the float switch mounted at the same level as the bilge pump? Can the float switch be installed sequentially with a 2 position switch, ie. first position powers the float switch, second position powers the bilge pump?

    Asked by: Russ
Hello Russ, Yes. The float switch and pump can be connected to a position switch. I am attaching the instructions for you to review. http://www.xylemflowcontrol.com/files/24-35A_25-40A_950-0229.pdf Thank you, Steve

Does 40A include both the pump and switch?

    Asked by: Mary
The same current goes through both the pump and the switch. So, for a switch rated at 40A of current, you can connect a pump with up to a 40A current draw. That is, if your circuit can handle that much current.

what size hose? what gph(OPEN FLOW)

    Asked by: fred
This is a float switch only, this activates the pump itself. This works in conjunction with a bilge pump.
