The Roadmaster Direct-Connect Baseplate for 2016-2017 Smart Fortwo models transforms towing into a fast, simplified experience. Built from computer-tested steel, it mounts directly to the car's frame using factory points. The powder coated finish prevents rust, and the crossbar free design allows for fewer steps and tools. When not in use simply remove the arms for factory fresh look .
Note: Roadmaster direct-connect baseplates will only work with Roadmaster tow bars that slide into a trailer hitch, such as the Blackhawk, Blackhawk 2, Falcon, or Falcon 2. These baseplates will not work with tow bars that require a hitch ball.
