The Roadmaster Direct-Connect Baseplate for 2016-2019 Ford Explorer and Explorer Sport is a hassle free towing system designed for strength and efficiency. It attaches firmly to the vehicle’s frame and is finished in a black powder coat for resistance against rust and wear. The kit includes arms that easily click into place and can be removed when not in use for a cleaner front-end look. With fewer parts to manage, installation is quicker for professionals.
Note: Roadmaster direct-connect baseplates will only work with Roadmaster tow bars that slide into a trailer hitch, such as the Blackhawk, Blackhawk 2, Falcon, or Falcon 2. These baseplates will not work with tow bars that require a hitch ball.
