Rated 1 out of 5 by from Do not buy Unravels when you cut it and falls apart in your hands. You can scratch the cheap backing off with your fingernail. Staples go right thru backing. I don’t see how anyone would give this a good review. I’m sooo mad I bought this and now have to try and get my money back.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from fine carpet, but Ordering and shipping were great! Very nice thick carpet compared to the original. Installation was very easy other than working with one warped board. My major concern is that after using the staple system to install it, the edges were beginning to unravel. I hope this doesn't continue. I also wish it came in another wider offering.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nice quality and it folded nice I wrapped my boat lift bunks with this and it was thick and easy to work with. It should last twice as long as the thin product i used the last time.

Which size is better for fastening the carpet... 3/8" staple or the 1/2" staple (stainless steel or rust proof, of course)?

    Asked by: JimB
I have found that the 1/2" stainless steel staple works best.

Do you need to glue and staple this carpet to trailer bunks, or just staple it. Also, does the carpet have a rubber backing. Thanks

    Asked by: Boatman
Hello Boatman, We recommend you staple the Malibu Boat Lift Bunk Carpet with the Arrow Stainless Steel Staples. Yes, the Durable DX marine backing is a rubber based product. Thank you, Steve

Will this lift bunk carpet work on trailer bunks? It's 20oz versus your best 16oz trailer bunk carpet. Or can it not handle the sliding that occurrs on trailer bunks? Thank you.

    Asked by: Curt
Yes. This can also be used on trailer bunks. It will handle the sliding as well as or even better than the other trailer bunk carpet we offer.
