Rated 1 out of 5 by from Fragile tank to hose connection Tipped over and started leaking from the connection inside the tank. Company has tanks but won’t sell. Overtons won’t provide part. Would be an easy fix and save a lot of money to just replace part

Rated 1 out of 5 by from fuel daddy hard to use and wasted lot of gas Tried it twice seance purchased. First last year. Gas runs to slow and wasted a lot of gas. Tried it again today. It is very hard to get the gas out of the tank. It took me 2 hours and you can't get it all out. Lot of time and waste.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Look for another option 1st - Cannot get 25 gallons into this tank... read other reviews - they'll confirm. 2nd - Leaks like a sieve at the junction between the tank and the on /off valve. Poorly built, for the price it is not worth it. You'll be lucky to get a season out of it.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from ThE tank itself is ok The wheels that come with this unit are very cheap and were bent when I received the unit. I purchased the unit while in the USA and have since brought home to Canada. I have noticed many complaints about the wheels and axle on this tank and Overton doesn't seem to care. DO NOT BUY THIS UNIT

Rated 1 out of 5 by from great Idea but I have had this for 3 years it was great for the first 6 months. The first thing is that you can not put in the amount gas that it says the tank holds. the valve starting leaking where it comes through the plastic no way to fix it ...There are now other options out there... looking

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not worth the money Seems like a great product, until you use it a few times. First off the wheels and axles bent from the weight of a fully loaded unit. I ended up replacing with solid tires from harbor freight. After a few uses the connection at the tank started leaking. The gravity feed is also extremely slow and my boat is on a lift so I can't even get all the fuel out unless the boat is in the water and the river level is low. I removed the valve and made a solded connection to the tank, still leaking a bit. I also added a hand crank fuel pump that pumps 10X faster and empties the tank. Way to much fixing for a product that should work correctly.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great way to save money. I keep my boat on a lift and hate paying marine gas prices. This makes it a lot easier to safely haul gas and fill my boat. Weight can be an issue so I fill the fuel daddy to about 18 gallons and use several 5-7 gallon tanks to fill the fuel daddy once system is set up. Directions for assembly were minimal and could be muc better. I put about 40 gallons in my boat the first time without a drop on the dock or water.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Works as expected This performs as expected. To fill the fuel daddy with more than 20 gallons, you have to lay it Down. Minus one star because the wheels are a bit flimsy.

Like others in this thread ours toppled over onto the valve and now it leaks at the valve. Can you order a replacement tank and valve connection ?  This is a poor fragile design and from what I've read is a common mishap.  There should be a way to replace

    Asked by: Gar
We’ve had ours for 2 years and it started leaking where the valve attaches to the tank. Not the valve itself but the interface between the fitting and plastic tank. This is a very poor design and does not allow for the natural flexing that occurs during normal use. I would avoid this purchase as it is only good for a few seasons.  If anyone has a way to permanently repair this please respond.

It says to fill the tank while it is laying down on its back. Are you allowed to transport it on its back as well? I'm not sure it will stand up in the back of my compact SUV.

    Asked by: Terry
Yes. It is best to transport the Fuel Daddy when it is full of fuel in a laying down position.
