Seriously annoying, because I ended up redoing all whole trailer with 8 x bunks.

Built new bunk boards
I bought this carpet to replace the bunk boards on my boat trailer. I used an exterior carpet glue and SS staples to attach. My bunks are 2x6x10. This carpet did the job. It did not convert the bottom of the bunk completely, but that is ok.

No. It is recommended that the Overton's Boat Trailer Bunk Carpet be stapled to the trailer bunks.

I have a 22' pontoon trailer. Can I use 2 pieces on each bunk if I seam it?
Yes. You can have a seam on your trailer bunk carpet if you need to.

is there a backing or adhesive on the carpet?
There is not adhesive backing on the carpet. I used a staple gun to install. It is very flexible for bending around corners and bends.

My bunks are 12' long, are these rolls exactly 12' or do they have a little extra so I can wrap around each end (I probably need 12'-4")?
They are going to be exactly 12 foot long.

Two of my trailor bunks are 14 feet long. Does this product come in a length that will cover a 14 foot board?
