Rated 1 out of 5 by from Nicely Finished But Useless Uesless, useless I tell you! The plastic bushing was much too short, allowing the oars to wobbel badly. I can't believe anyone at Overton's has ever used these oar lock sockets. And, yes the pins fit snugley in the bushings, what there was of then. For lack of two cents worth of plastic a customer was lost

Is the shank hole open or closed on the bottom? i.e. can the oar lock shaft stick down through the shank hole and be pinned with a split-ring so it can't be pulled out?

    Asked by: Dan
The hole in the Oar Lock Sockets, Top-Mount is open at the bottom. If the shaft on the oar lock is long enough, then it could be pinned with a split-ring.
