can this be used on a 2012 mastercraft x25 surf tab?
This actuator is designed to only be used with the Lenco trim tabs. Unless the tab is a Lenco brand then it will not be compatible.

could i use this on a jack plate i have a honda 25bf outbord wanting to use it as a trim motor?
No. This actuator is designed to be used only with the Lenco trim tabs.

I have a 1972 formula with a mercruiser inboard engine, would it be possible to use this instead of the hydralic one that are on there?
Everything would have to be switched over to electric components. You would need an electric switch, electric wires instead of the hydralic hoses, and the actuators. It can be done but this will not be the only item that you will need to convert it over to electric.
