Great Investment
I purchased the ¾ hp marine pump to remove ice around a stationary dock as well as a floating dock. This pump does an excellent job. We use the ropes included with the pump to mount it to the side of the stationary dock. The temp/time is a must have! I only run the pump for 10 hours/day saving lots of $$ on electricity.

Good product, good price from Overton's
I use the timer to control the operation of a Kasco deicer unit which keeps ice away from my 30'floating dock. It replaces the timer I lost during Hurricane Sandy. I've used this timer for years and it is the best of it's kind. It really saves electricity, since it also senses temperature.

Overall good product
I owned this timer for about 10 years and it worked flawlessly. Unit took on some water during Sandy, and only the temperature sensor fizzled, the clock timer will worked. After 4 days of online searching, I found out the temperature sensor is made specifically for that unit and is not available anywhere. I called Kasco, and they are clueless to the construction of the product, and only wanted me to stop bothering them. I bypassed the temp sensor and now use it for my Xmas lights. Still liking the unit, I bought a new one online, since no other units compare.

The almost total plastic construction is great for a corrosive environment. However, the plastic control panel doesn't snap tightly into the two plastic side clips. It would have been better to secure the control panel with two stainless steel screws.

Works Great!
This is my second purchase of this item. The original works great and has been in winter use for 3 years. The latest purchase is working as well as the first.
