Features
Wind, water, and engine noise are the enemy of good boat audio. The JL Audio M6 Luxe 7.7 in coaxial speaker is built to overcome all three, with an oversized driver that adds efficiency so you get more output from the same amplifier power.
A 1"" pure silk dome tweeter, treated to withstand the marine environment, handles the highs with clean, articulate detail even at higher volume. The woofer uses a mica-filled polypropylene cone with a synthetic rubber surround. Power handling is 100 W RMS at 4 ohms, and JL Audio recommends amplifiers rated for 40 to 200 W per channel.
The low-profile bezel with an integrated tweeter bridge and the fine mesh grille sit close to the mounting surface, protruding just 0.38"". The satin white Luxe grille suits cabins and sheltered spaces. Plan on a 7.5"" mounting cutout and a mounting depth of 4.26"".
