Let other vessels see you, not just the other way around. The Icom MA-510TR is a standalone Class B AIS transponder that transmits your position and receives both Class A and Class B AIS signals, which helps you spot commercial traffic and small boats that are hard to pick up on radar.
The 4.3"" wide-viewing-angle color TFT display shows your vessel and nearby traffic, and potentially dangerous vessels appear in red. A day and night mode, a collision alarm, an anchor watch alarm, and a man overboard waypoint function add safety tools. Individual DSC calls can be made through a compatible Icom VHF.
The unit works as a standalone transponder, and NMEA 2000, NMEA 0183, and USB connections share data with other electronics. It is IPX7 rated, mounts standing or hanging with the included bracket, and transmits at 2 W. The MMSI number and ship information are user programmable.
