The Dometic SeaStar HH6490-4 PRO Sport Plus Tilt Hydraulic Helm Pump is suited for critical high speed, single-powered outboard boats, like bass, flats, combo race/ski, and other performance-orientated boats capable of speeds in excess of 60mph. Designed for the performance boater, Dometic SeaStar Pro is the ultimate steering system for high-speed single engine outboards.
This latest series of SeaStar helms has been redesigned to provide a better experience for the vessel operator. New valve technology ensures tighter, quieter, and more responsive steering, while minimizing the potential for chattering when dealing with over running steering loads. More durable check valves make the entire steering system more resilient to the rigors of trailering. The revamped design enhances their aesthetics and has introduced a new fill port plug design for easier maintenance. The HH6490-4 model is a direct replacement for the HH6490-3 and HH6490.
