Rated 4 out of 5 by from Love Overtons Well, I got in a car accident 18 days after buying a jet ski which was a day or two after receiving this product. Severely broke my arm so I can't say much as I haven't used it yet but..... Love how Overton's items always arrive on the third day (before the estimated date)!!!! I intend to use this to attach temporarily to my parent's slip (since I trail) when we are out in their boat. Also probably to attach to their boat for me to pull up to on the Sea Doo. Love the idea. I'm sure it will work great. Next year.......

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I AGREE WITH THE ABOVE DEFINITION. i USE THE PRODUCT ATTACHED TO THE DOCK TO CUSHION OUR WAVE RUNNERS WHEN THEY COME IN. IT KEEPS THE WAVE RUNNERS FROM HITTING THE STEEL SUPPORT CHANNEL OF THE DOCK. THIS ELIMINATES DAMAGE TO THE WAVE RUNNERS.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Very nice especially for the sale price. Plan on using to fender off a 12 ft skiff from a 25 ft motor sailer. Have not had a chance to try it yet. But looks like it will provide a large area of protection to the hulls of both boats.

So when I'm driving my boat into the slip to Moore it and I am close to another boat, would this be more protection to hang from my boat then fenders? Once my boat is moored then i could pull this up and put out the fenders perhaps. I am new to boating...

So when I'm driving my boat into the slip to Moore it and I am close to another boat, would this be more protection to hang from my boat then fenders? Once my boat is moored then i could pull this up and put out the fenders perhaps. I am new to boating and I get nervous pulling up next to these new expensive boats at these restaurants at my lake. Thank you

This item would have 7 1/2 ft of full coverage vs. fenders would have coverage based on how you spaced them out down the side(s) of the boat. The padding for the rafting fender is 4" thick vs. a fender will have a diameter anywhere from 3 1/2" to 8 1/2" depending on what fender you select. It really comes down to personal preference. If spaced properly, the individual fenders will provide more support, but the rafting fender has no breaks in protected space and can be mounted to a dock and folded up for easy storage.

How is this attached to the dock?

Asked by: Supra
We decided to add grommets to this product to make mounting options easier and more universal. You can use the grommets to run line through and hang the fender, or you can use deck screws with a wider head if you want a more permanent mount to a dock.
