Additional Information
Docking a PWC has never been easier than with the Dockmate Hinged PWC Fender. The perfect size and contour to protect your PWC when docking, this fender hinges in the center to better protect your PWC. Made of high-impact closed-cell foam with a tough 3-layer marine vinyl cover. The bottom of the fender hooks under the rub rail with a molded acetyl hook that's integrated into the back of the fender. If your PWC has a cleat or ski eye, you can connect the top of the fender to them with the adjustable strap and vinyl-coated hook. If not, just thread the strap through the rubber block provided and place it inside the PWC storage compartment and shut it. The block anchors the fender strap perfectly and will not damage the PWC. Webbing strap adjusts to 23" long. Fender measures 10" x 4" x 2-1/2". Two fenders are recommended per PWC.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from I would look for something else If you have your ski on a calm lake then this might work for you otherwise they are awful. I live on a choppy lake and the screws that hold them together came out on the plastic hook part of the pad and damaged the bumper of my brand new ski. They dont hold and there is no where to hook them with that sad design. Way to much money for what they do. NO I wont buy another!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Convenient and easy to use Used these on our Seadoos to keep them from getting damaged but the dock. Wish I had them sooner as it would have saved me money in repairs from dock damage. Easy to use

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Definitely a paint saver! If you use them on a pwc, I found it easiest to attach them to both sides in the front and then together with the s hook on top by the speedometer.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent paired across the ski I have jet-skied with groups from 11 to 65 skis that all tie up for lunch or the night at the same dock. Dockmate Hinged PWC Fender by Dockmate are absolutely the only way to protect you ski when you have other skis tied up on BOTH sides of you jet ski. If you have ridden in the ocean or river for 12 hours that day this is the easiest way to get tied up safely for the night, gently crawl over the raft of skis between you and the dock and get ready for the evening's fun. Buy four of these fenders and connect the two pairs with a bungee cord about 2' long. Put one just in back of the handle bars and the other at the very back of the seat. Safe and Secure when rafting up with many of your jet-skiing friends on a small dock for the night. These also store great in the limited amount of storage that a jet-ski has. Buoy style fender are just to bulky to store in a jet-ski.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Dockmate Hinged PWC Fender by Dockmate I ordered 2- looked at one and could not figure out how to secure it to the Jet-ski.....looked it up on line...was stumped! Then I looked at the second one and realized that the first one was missing the grommet, where the "S" hook goes through. Called overton's and they sent another one. Guess what...that new one was also missing the grommet. Called again and they sent another. That one had the grommet. SO great design and is easy to use. They work well and stay in place. They are much better than the bumpers that have a suction cup to attach. I recommend the dock mate.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from A great idea, but poorly executed Round fenders are mostly useless on a pwc so I thought I'd give these flat fenders a try. I read in comments here where you have to mess with the hook and buckle and trap the block in a compartment or under a seat? Forget that! I got no instructions with this product either but after looking things over I added a simple mod. I chucked the straps in favor of a 6 ft mooring line. I tied a bowline knot (a knot with an open loop) to the eye at the top of the fender. The fender itself gets hooked under the rim of the hull then I loop the rope either over the rear grab handle, the handle bars or the reverse lever, depending on where I need the protection. The rope is then fed back down through the bowline loop and yanked up and tied. Not only does the loop provide a secure area to tie the knot of your choice but it also acts as a fulcrum which allows you to vastly increase the amount of tension on the line , keeping the fender from chafing your gelcoat, stickers, or worse, coming off completely. Now I can deploy this thing in seconds. The best part is when I reach in and grab it out of my storage compartment, the line comes with it and I don't have to go looking for that dumb strap.

What is the purpose of the rubber weight?

    Asked by: Bonz
To clarify though, the rubber weight goes inside of a compartment if you do not have something to attach the hook to (especially helpful for the front fender, the rear fender can hook to the ski tow). Instead you would run the strap into the compartment with the weight, and that helps to hold it in place. Others have tried to put the weight inside the integrated hook on the back of the fender, because it does almost fit, however that is for attachment to the rub rail. The weight doesn't go there.

How does this install on a 2008 Yamaha waverunner 3-seater?

    Asked by: Bonz
It just hooks onto any pwc with an "S" hook at the end of the strap. Nothing special for any particular pwc as far as installation.

I am having trouble installing these fenders on my Sea Doo GTI PWC. Any advice? Any tips?

    Asked by: Tim
On most Seadoos, you should be able to hook one end under the rub rail and the other under the seat compartment. For the front fender, you can hook it under the rub rail and under the hood compartment.
