protected my pontoon when mooring whips failed
The fenders work great and do not flip over the rails in rough water. When my mooring whips lines broke they protected my 20 foot pontoon from damage. I am buying more to over the length of my dock ever 5 feet. I had them spaced at 5 feet apart along the dock where my whips were just for tying up, loading and unloading passengers.

tan bumpers discolored after a couple of years
I bought a number of side and corner tan bumpers for my dock. After about 2 years many of them severely discolored. They have big dark brown blotches all over them and look very unsightly. If buying you may want to keep that in mind and get a darker color.

Excellent
I love these bumpers. They absorb impact from boats well and are installed easily. I wish they sold one with a 24" length.

A great bumper
This is an additional bumper. I now have 4 of them on the dock edge. They work very well and are easy to mount with power drills and power fastener drivers.

Best protection for boats in boat slips.
Bought 16 of these 3 years ago, they have worked great.
Ordered 10 more for 2nd boat slip with new boat.
Much better than tying bumpers and having to re-adjust
with changing water level. Mounting hardware is included, easy
to install. Beige is a good color selection.

Great at first but deteriorated fast
I have these, as well as the corner version and the 48" long square shaped horizontal/corner version from the same manufacturer, in the beige color. I mounted several along my dock on two sides so I didn't have to pull out my fenders every-time when docking the boat. They worked great for the first season (in Central VA, fresh water lake), BUT, by halfway through the second season the sun had deteriorated the tops of all of the versions and turned them crusty looking an gooey. They look terrible and the gooey part transfers the sides of the boat and is next to impossible to remove. I have to use the boat fenders to protect the boat from these fenders. I'm going to take them off and throw them away this year (beginning of 5th season). I've seen the white versions mounted on other docks and they appear to have the same symptoms, but not as bad. It was very disappointing as they are not inexpensive.

Good product
Easy to install, placement flexible. Lived up to our expectations. The only thing is the washers could have been a bit larger.

Bumper, Good Bumper
Got the black bumper and thought that it would rub off on the toon and leave black marks but to my surprise it did not. Need to becareful of placement of screws, last year I ruined the corner bumper.
Protect pontoon well!!!!
Overtones will sometimes run a "hot buy" on fenders.... Good price!

What size and type are the screws? Are there washers also? If so, what size are the washers?
Item# 314623 would work well for mounting these onto your dock. No washer is needed to install these.

My swim platform goes under my dock by a few inches will this be able to stop my 32 food boat without breaking the fender if I use two or three?
Unfortunately not. These do not bend as well as a foam filled bumper does.

Do these bumpers fenders come already inflated?
Unfortunately not. They will need to be inflated once received.

I'm in the main channel of a lake where bass boaters go by in convoy style on saturday morning, causing huge wakes. How is it my boat won't ride a wake up on top of the bumper?
It is going to be dependent on how the boat is tied to the dock. We recommend using mooring whips if you already do not have them in place.

these ones are 16" long do they come in shorter lengths??
Unfortunately 16" is the only length we carry.

how much air pressure is requried
I asked the same question of Overton for the same item number and the response was: "There really isn't a recommended psi, technically you can adjust the firmness to your liking."

What is the recommended distance between bumper fenders for mounting?
This would depend on your particular needs. If you have smaller boats or PWC's/Jetskis docking, you may want a shorter distance. You may go farther apart if you're augmenting these bumpers with other edging. You can see a photo example at this item:

Has anyone accidently overinflated a dock bumper? How can the air pressure be reduced?
You should be able to reduce the pressure by inserting the inflation needle, which is a standard sports needle, into the valve and allow the air to leak out through the needle. If the outside pressure prevents the air from leaking out on its on just squeeze the fender, with the needle still installed, and it should force some air out.
