The Dock Edge Solar lights that I purchased are working well
I placed them on my boat house / dock pylons and they really help when coming in with the boat after sundown.

Top Notch Product with Top Notch Service!
Our boathouse and dock are not visible at night & jut out near deep water where boats can go by. Dock Edge clearly marks our structures when power is off.

Nice decorative lights but too dim
I was going to use them to add some light to the dock area but lights are really too dim for that purpose, however nice decoration and I like that you can change color of light. They do keep birds off pilings as sharp tip on top also. Depending on what you are looking for I would recommend.

Adds safety lighting to pilings at night
My swim dock extends out 150 ft from shore and I needed marker lights on it for other boaters safety for those no moon nights. I have been asked by several people about where I got them. They provide adequate lighting for safety but don't expect to read a book by them .

Can I store the units inside during the winter to preserve longevity? How would I store the LED display and would this have an adverse affect on recharging the battery again once placed outside?
According to the manufacturer: Either way works, as long as the battery is taken out, or, is continually charged. It is better to have the battery running cycles, even if it is inside. Once the battery sits too long it will lose its storage power.

How do you change the light colors ?
Thanks for your question. On the bottom of the light there are 6 switches to set the light color. Just slide the switch up for the one color that you want to set it to.
